In this recent Seoul trip, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the vibrant beauty culture of South Korea. From the bustling streets lined with cosmetic shops to the serene, high-end spas, this city quickly became a mecca for all things Korean beauty.
Although I had some hopes and ideas of even booking a dermatologist, color analyst and more… Unfurtunately, I didn’t personally got to experience any of the services, the high-end-spas and refreshing baths although I did allow myself a fair share of skincare shopping and this is what this blog is all about.
During my time in Seoul, I embarked on a transformative skincare awareness journey, discovering a whole new world of innovative products and indulgent rituals. From the moment I stepped into my first Korean beauty store, I was both overwhelmed and captivated by the sheer variety of cleansers, essences, serums, and moisturizers, each promising to deliver radiant, youthful-looking skin.

One of the highlights of my trip was visiting a traditional Korean bathhouse, where I indulged in a luxurious body scrub and relaxing soak.
ready to soak up the nourishing products I had carefully curated during my shopping excursions.
As I immersed myself in the Korean beauty scene, I discovered the importance of a multi-step skincare routine, incorporating unique ingredients like snail mucin, propolis, and fermented yeast. These potent formulas, combined with the meticulous attention to detail, have transformed my complexion, leaving it brighter, smoother, and more resilient than ever before.
From the iconic sheet masks to the innovative double-cleansing method, the Korean beauty philosophy has truly inspired me to elevate my skincare routine and embrace a more holistic approach to self-care. I can’t wait to share my newfound knowledge and favorite products with you, so you can experience the transformative power of Korean beauty for yourself.

Serums are the one thing that I took from this dive in into

The Dr. G Red Blemish Clear Soothing Cream and the Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Dark Spot Serum are two products that have stayed around the top 10 for a while. As of now, they’re 5 and 11 so I tried both of them. The Dr. G cream more thought as a moisturizer but since both of these are targeted at blemishes and dark spots I thought I’d talk about them together. I didn’t really see any difference in the effects of these two products. As opposed to the numbzin concentrated serum where I could see a difference within a week of using or stop using it.
I did try to use both of these as the daily serum and cream / moisturizer. On second thought, these might be thought to be complementing a daily routine for targeted issues rather than be your daily product but since I’m not yet at the point of working on targeted issues in my skincare routine
