Photographers and models from different places around the world came together to make a compilation of people from different cultures wearing the traditional Chinese QiPao.
The cheongsam, also known as the qipao, is a type of body-hugging dress of Manchu (ethnic minority in China) origin. It is a high-necked, closefitting dress with the skirt slit partway up the side. It was known as the mandarin gown during the 1920s and 1930s, when it was modernized by Chinese socialites and upper-class women in Shanghai.

We appeared in the local Chinese newspaper and Jono’s parents got a bunch for us to keep. The models involved came from places such as Nepal, Hawaii, Czech Republic, China and Mexico.
