Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. I have not written here in a long time but I would like to write again to share and document details about my adventures. This month I posted my first video on a new YouTube channel that I created a few months ago:

Cecy’s Whimsical Journey
As many of you will know, this month I started my YouTube channel: Cecy’s Whimsical Journey. I started this channel with the idea of sharing my most recent adventures traveling through Southeast Asia as a backpacker and now in New Zealand doing “van trip” (traveling by van through the South Island).
This month I started with some introductory videos like:

To give a bit of context to my situation before starting to share travel stories and details of each of the countries.
The truth is, I don’t really know what I’m doing yet but I already have several videos on my channel as a summary or introduction to some things I have done in the past year and my first trips.

Van Tour New Zealand South Island
At the same time I was taking a van trip through the South Island of New Zealand, starting in the Nelson-Tasman area at the end of the year, going down the West Coast, Canterbury and Otago.

If you like I will be making posts about the different places later. I will leave the links here as the posts go out. As in the old days I have been writing in my journal and collecting brochures for my travel journal that I will complete when I have more time.

January Favorites
This month, being in the van traveling, we did not have much opportunity to see series or movies, however I did have the opportunity to read the Alchemist. Also, we downloaded the last season of Outlander and started watching the odd episode on the go.
Stay tuned for the February post and subsequent posts on New Zealand. Do not forget to check my YouTube channel and give your comments and opinions. I’m learning to edit and in general what kind of content and in what direction I want to take the channel so I’m thinking of things that I can upload in addition to travel videos.
I would like to have more freedom to upload anything else such as my travel diary, music videos, favorites of the month, more things from day to day but I will see as I go.
