Highlights from June

  • Outdoors: Korokoro Dam Walk, art walks and winter BBQ with Jono
  • Work & Volunteer: “Back” to Te Papa, @SpanishwithCecy, first off platform Spanish student, Kiwi class volunteer week
  • Friends: Mariana’s Pregnancy Photoshoot, circulo de mujeres
  • Home: Collecting old clothes to donate, swap office and bedroom, housesitting for Jono’s mom
  • Family: Yum cha with Jono’s family, Jono’s mom trip, huracanes hit Mexico
  • Entertainment: Tokyo Revengers

One thing I learned: Patience, gratefulness, awareness and compassion

One thing that I’m proud of: Start advertising my teaching online even thought it’s been overwhelming and knowing when to step off it if it becomes too much. Started to move around and preparing things to get rid of to make room for new things in life.

How can I improve next month? Be more mindfully balanced. Keep more focus on self care even when I don’t feel like doing things. Find a way to nourish and take care of myself even when I’m exhausted.
